You can move as fast as your slowest person, a medical kit is always a plus, distribute the weight across the group based on what others can carry safely remember you are not superman. Divide and assign tasks based on skill set learn from others if you are weak in some areas, have a plan before leaving and a back up and make sure everyone knows their jobs that way no free for all and miscommunication will not occur as in I though that was your job or I thought you brought it.
