>>814477I have caught a few nice catfish from shore. I use hipboots or chestwaders usually for that. When water is low, I even wear swimtrunks sometimes and will use a dinky pool raft to get out to rock out croppings and fish the pools below.
I prefer green sunfish(way livelier than bluegills) 4-6in or white perch in any size.
