camp and will probably last them a lifetime.
The fact is, most of us who have high-dollar hunting knives bought them for the coolness factor
(which is alright also) and rarely use them or need that level of quality.
Thus the ridiculous concept of "battoning" firewood; hipsters with more money then brains looking
for a way to fool around with and justify the money they dropped on their fancy camp knives.
Now if you've got the money to burn, get expensive gear (the top-of-the-line stuff is arguably better)
but it's not like you'll be at some kinda disadvantage if you've got reasonably well made yet sensibly
priced gear.
