UK here, more wood mallards than you can shake a stick at, averaging about five per trip but concentrating on wood pigeons as they come in to roost and walking them up hedgrows - they love all the thorn berries just now. Been invited to shoot a few pheasants here and there too. Not seen as many geese as I've been expecting this year and nobody is shooting woodcock this year either, around here at least.
