I WOULD recommend the esbit emergency stove for a bugout bag or emergency preparedness kit though, as long as you can resist the temptation to try it out and just leave it in the packaging.
Esbit solid fuel cookset(pic related) is nice. But the feet are crooked, so it wobbles if you put it on something flat. When I tried to repair it I stripped the screw in the plastic foot, and had to epoxy the screw back in. It's in my emergency preparedness box. I don't plan on ever using it.
