That’s pretty big. Do you actually use this for day hikes?
My current day bag is an Osprey Talon. InB4 hipster/consume/city fag comments. I use it for some mountaineering as well.
>reasonable size (22L, though they do make a smaller 11L and a big 32L)
>suspension allows for an air pocket between the pack and the wearer, providing unsurpassed breathability
>has an actual hip belt. many this size have a 1” poly strap that doesn’t support the weight of the bag, which is pretty pointless
>compression straps can run inside of the side pockets. lots of packs still run them on the outside only, which is absolutely retarded
>hip belt pockets, shoulder strap pockets, side pockets, rear panel compartment, and lid pockets. same as most full size backpacks; nothing extraneous
>can use a water bladder if that’s your thing
>ice axe loop and helmet attachment
>on the go trekking pole stowage is actually a pretty neat feature
>lifetime guarantee
>$120, but can be found for under $100 pretty often.
