I was intending to test out the suppleness of my new leather britches by walking to the next fjord but I realised I know the route I would be walking and there are no landmarks worth seeing. A volcano fiery like the gods anger, geothermal pools and wenches a plenty. Chances are, I am too jaded to ascend a cliff face and raid a monastery and feel anything. Plus the map drawn by my Christian slave pretty much makes "exploring" redundant since I can just look at those lines without getting sweaty.
