Can I use Creeping Jenny for a privacy curtain for my fence? I have a 6ft wire fence (not chicken wire, not cattle fence, just that shitty black wire that can get destroyed with a weedeater). My neighbors can see into my garden. I would like to block it off with plants but the problem is the sides I need blocked are in partial shade. I have tried planters with some vines to grow up the fence but pulling them out of the fence in spring is a shit time. So I want to mount some lengths of bamboo I got from a friend that are 4-6in dia that are split in half like a canoe, fill with dirt, secure to the 4x4 posts, and plant creeping jenny along it to grow down as a privacy curtain, if only to partially obstruct view into my garden. Id use english ivy or sweetleaf but im trying to not have vines grow through the fence, and/or spread all over the place.
