>>31121oh you. Through the back country trails program is not how much of the feds and state get most of there trail guys. Its a real job much like the other anon just more for younger people who want do do this or something like it...did I mention the 6000 in scholarships after completion of the program? alot of time they will pay a good portion of you debts from school loans and such. People either go back to school with the money or use is to get into trail work and other forestry jobs as well or just go off and follow other things they want to do. I just see this as the easiest way to get into this type of work.
