Cold and rainy today, but time was found to plant 80 sugar beet plants under one of the polytunnels. It is the same bed that has been inoculated the garden giant mushroom (Stropharia rugosoannulata.) The mycelium is doing really well. For every sugar beet plant, some of the wood chips with mycelium was removed. That was done to make space for the plant and to inoculate more wood chips. I now have several of the wood chip garden paths inoculated and I've begun to make more mushroom wood chip kits.
