It's essentially a compression sleeve that can hold cooling inserts where your radial and brachial artery are and it cools down blood as it passes by the cooling inserts. Whenever I'm wearing two sleeves with 4 inserts at the range with 90 degree heat, my body doesn't feel like it wants to sweat.
You can recharge them in a fridge/freezer or ice water and it typically recharges as fast as it discharges.
