>too big for any kind of food prepC'mon man, there is no way you can say you cannot prep a fish with this knife (unless pike then yes, its hard), provided you have sufficient skill. I have skinned rabbits with knives larger and bulkier than this, and I'm sure larger animals would not be much worse. I'd prefer a filet knife and a hunting knife, but you can't necessarily get what you want if all you're carrying is your daypack and you get stranded. Also I carry a leatherman at almost all times, so that covers small finer work.
