>>593274well yeah I basically know what sponsorship is. i keep myself fairly high profile doing what i do, and i've invested thousands in my own equipment. it's just annoying that i see people who make sucky videos and do sucky reviews, and worse, create sucky recordings to begin with, always getting sent free stuff by companies who want them to use and review the product. this is def true in /out/ related stuff as well, back when i bought my hammock i was shocked at the shitty quality videos people were making after being sent a free $200 hammock from DD.
i use very specific companies' equipment (proven quality without the multithousand dollar pricetag) so if i can get more of an online presence someone might ask me to shill for them. i also teach at a university so they'd be wise to send me stuff to use in class!
