But from what im seeing on the river right now people are pulling in daily limits using the same jig/minnow combo as me so I have to think its my technique thats lacking. I'll give it another try next weekend and ask around, maybe someone on the river can help out. Or I'll go back to the tube jig and hope I get lucky again.
