>>1667400Was hiking a section of the PCT with my friend and our 2 akitas who are littermates. We noticed a dude had been several hundred yards back following us most of the day. Was weird because we had stopped to take breaks for lunch and stuff but he never caught up with us. Waved at him when we could see him but he pretended not to notice. When we stop for dinner he catches up with us and the dogs both go crazy barking at him like he is the neighbor's cat in their yard. Normally they are very friendly with the strangers on the trail but they did not like that guy one bit. We said a few sentences to him and he eventually left. He was staring at the gun on my hip the whole time. My friend and I were like that was weird. I ended up staying up most of the night because the dude gave me a bad vibe. Never saw him again though.
