>>1119372You can tie stuff as big or as little as you'd like (most of the time). Fly size limitations are more due to the size of the materials (hackle etc) than the actual way they function in the water (assuming you have a good pattern). I have a buddy that ties giant bass jigs for baitcasters.
That's one of my own patterns. There's actually quite a few of us that tie here.
