my 240k house in 1998 is now appraised at 1.7m its a common thing here to be "house rich" but it comes with a dilemma which is even if you sold, 1.6m aint getting you much these days here so youre basically out priced on the market and have to move to a much shittier area or obviously out of state where everything is cheaper.
