That caused me to fall on my back...but luckily my flailing arms caught a branch before I hit the ground. The moral of the story: pick good handholds. If your foothold breaks, you might fall on your feel, but if you handhold breaks you'll fall on your back, which can be deadly. Ever since then, I always have my hands on two different branches whenever possible, and I take extra caution in exposed areas where there are no branches below me to catch myself on if I fall.
