live like a hobo in the city. look poor enugh so no one will rob you. get shelter in a crack house. beg for money hide all day. you use this time to stock up. AND TO SURVIVE.
The single most important fact you need to focus on, from the looks of it, is knowledge. since you dont have the luxury of practise and time take the books with you. yes books. things like " sas survival guide" or look for books for scouts.
You will fail at a lot of key tasks at the begining. You are going to massivly depent on supplies the first year or longer.
if i would need to disapear. i would make a base campe near a big city. depent on begging or random work for money dumpster dive for food. use the money to stock up on food and tools. practise skills at day time enter they city at night. (assuming its the safest time). focus looking normal and everything is possible.
For example a soldier rode a bicycle from russia to central europe. he was dressed to look like he was on his way to a wedding. and he passed through all check points because the guards always assumed he was a local man.
dot wait outdoors, change your situation, observe and adapt.
