Alright so this is kind of a broad question, but,
'm looking into getting about a 15+ acre property in northern wooded Alberta and want to have everything self sustaining, with a veggie garden, bee hives, untamed woods, chicken coop, solar panels, maybe a greenhouse. I want enough food for at least 5-8 people, not really for profit but so I can live self sustainable with a family.
Would you recommend a temperature/light controlled hydroponic garden system since it's pretty far north? I really want the plants to have access to the bees, would they be safer just out on raised beds, patio style?
Also is there any specific books I could find online about this kind of stuff
