Discovered the first climb in America from 1607 in Vermont leading to a vault they carved into the side of the cliff some 150' off the ground

Massive discovery with some rock art carved on the wall below the climb up. Two pitches first is a 5.4 with 3 bolts and a belay station with rings I set up, and the second pitch is a gnarly 12+ out a roof traverse on thin fingers and an undercling for a good 20 ft and then a transition to the face slightly less than vertical for another 40'.... the anchor I am setting there will lower you right in front of the Vault to peek inside.

Think National Treasure....located at the Pass in Stowe....the words on the Liberty Bell are Pass and Stow...

The most I climbed was 6 or 7 pitches in a few hours....maybe three or four with a few people.

There was no speed climbing involved....just a long crack for 4 pitches and some rounded bollards to the top on a face crossover

Lots to anchor....no 3600 feet of madness

They are really up there...

My newest project....tagging the climb to the vault

It would be huge if you all were able to come here to the place that I found to show you the Sword In The Stone and the Vault.

I guide from time to time so I know the area real well and would love to meet a real group here for a cool time in Smuggler's Notch

Who knows.....there may be some cases of Whiskey still hidden away in a cave somewhere.

The view from a distance can attribute the scale and the height at which this was all made to be set into the cliff for a special reason.....it is a tomb of some sort....of a religious figure.
