I have an opportunity to move out of my state, I've lived in the deserts of California my while life but I never really ventured out before.
I've always loved the great outdoors, I read stories of frontiersmen and explorers all starry eyes and shit and I finally may be able to go to a state with woods, game to hunt and seasons.
I browsed the catalog but I couldn't find a thread for beginners with zero experience so I humbly ask you /out/doorsmen for advice on location and how not to freeze to death in some mountain range
