Years ago I was in tennessee fucking around in rivers looking for salamanders and I found something very similar to picrel which is a triop but it looked different. I saw it, just as I lifted a rock and then it disappeared into the sand cloud. I wish I had a pic. Doesn’t anyone know of similar creatures about 1.5” in length that would be found in small rivers and creeks in the tennessee area? I’ve looked online but supposedly triops are not found in that area so I’m lost
I’m posting this heat because I want to fashion a lure in its likeness. Honestly though a triop lure would probably work
