Pros :
- huge space inside, up to 65 liters eazy.
- no fancy bajillion pocket - three pouches and that's it.
- sturdy as a mf. Heavy paraffin-treated cotton. Anyone who tells otherwise is a liar or an imbecile.
- steel external frame, designed as to make the pack stands on its own, like magic !
- comfy. Nice old timey aesthetic.
Cons :
- the super steel external frame comes unfortunately at a cost, and it is weight. This baby is 2kg and can be quite bulky.
Overall it's nice for 2-3 days trip (and at 175 $ you're getting a bang for your buck), but for longer than that I'd trade with an ultra-light Osprey "SpaceMarine"™ or whatever they're called any day of the week. Not shilling for Savotta here, it's not the best for every situation, but sure is nice within its limits
