>>1223458Yeah it's the first one I ever made, it does look better than it does in the picture... not particularly good though, very uneven polish with many inconsistencies. Mostly I was focusing on the geometry. It was very bad stock, all I had at first, .25" thick and not even 2" wide. It's better suited to be a bayonet then a chopper knife. But I managed to get a slim enough convex to where it does not chop that bad despite the odd shape. But really its better as a watermelon knife. Next one I will hand sand to finish or maybe do some dremel texturing along the spine.
The handle only turned out so well because my cousin who is good at wood working instructed me, and happened to have a chunk of Iron Wood to spare.
