>>2381838physical addiction hits a lil different. If it works for you, it works for you and thats great, even though your health might suffer. Some people dont find a coping mechanism ever. I just feel like Im seeing a lot of people delude themselves about it like I did. Then you end up smoking (pipes, cigars, cigs, dohka, whatever) for 20+ years and you sound like Tom Waits and start hacking whenever you have to walk up stairs. And its become such a part of your life that everyday things seem empty with out it. Im projecting a little here, and I know that. I'd say if you wanna be /out/ not smoking would be a great place to start. Unless you live at high altitude like me, then who the fuck cares. Fun fact for all you smokers who want to do some high alt /out/ing, smokers are used to having less oxygen in their blood stream and you dont suffer nearly as much as other people when you start gaining alt. I can snowboard all damn day at full blast and do hikes with massive altitude gains because of that and good cardio. Cant do that shit without biking or something in the off time.
tldr maybe think about addiction as a hobby, unless youre at high alt and exercise regularly then go wild I guess fuck it
