Chickens just started laying a week or three ago. I've gotten I bunch of normal eggs, but there were about 4 defective ones. 1 with a thin, rough shell, 2 shell less in a row and 1 completely loose one no membrane or anything. Just working out the kinks or a calcium deficit, I've given them yofurt and oyster shell, the oyster shell is always out but I made sure the suspects had several pieces. I've been holding off on layer feed for worry of buildup in the slacker's kidneys, she hasn't laid yet. What think?
