As for my "dream /out/ home" I'm designing a cob cottage with a attached pit greenhouse, like pictured.
I'm going to do a 10x10 cob rectangle with two foot thick walls, with a open sun ward facing front. The top of the roof will meet up with the top section of the greenhouse. It's going to be a 5x10 greenhouse across the front of the house, with sloped tiers up towards the front of the house.
And there will be a basement under the floor of the cottage itself. Because basement.
It's sort of like an earthship, only, without the tires or garbage.
