He doesn't necessarily do the wrong things like Stroud does, but because his show's format is so different, it causes people to think that running around and climbing random shit is the go-to in a survival situation. Please don't do this; Bear runs around to change scenery and show what his "field expert" is telling him as they walk. Its a fun watch and he is very energetic but people think he mirrors Survivalman and think you should ACTUALLY run around like he does. He only runs around because his expert is itching to show him how blue ice caves are a danger and bad shelter AND how to boil some meat in a geyser. They cant do that if they just sit around. Also Bear is dropped in by helicopters and he doesn't really have a logical survival situation entrance like Stroud does. Essentially Bear has nowhere to be because he is not supposed to be in that situation to begin with. This is why he runs around and then magically finds an airfield or something.
