Frenchie from lower-normandy here, looking to get into fishing for real, preferably on seaside or on the sea breakwater. Got no particular fish in mind, pretty much anything I can clean and cook later. I'm planning to buy a standard sea fishing rod tomorrow and eventually go ahead with a couple bags to bring the fish home.
Is there anything I should know, things to watch out for, do's and don'ts, anything I'm doing wrong, specific bait/gear or if I can just go with anything?
