>>346930>Wouldn't know. I'm just a pleb, but even I know that a simpler mechanism is will always last longer than one that is more complex. So why don't you just use a muzzle-loader? Or a spear, those have no moving parts and are thus not mechanically complex.
>Semi-automatics refill the chamber for every single pull of the trigger. No, they refill the chamber AFTER it's been fired, there's a distinct difference, the action is entirely static until after it has been fired.
>I just like being in complete control of that particular aspect of the firearm. If a semi-automatic rifle has a gas-shutoff or some sort of adjustable gas system, you can completely prevent the rifle from cycling itself when you want, effectively turning the rifle into a straight-pull bolt-action.
I'd have the same accuracy as with a bolt-action, except I can let it accept gas again, and I now have a rifle for any kind of emergency or split second corrective shot. I'd much rather have an AR-15 or AR-10 with a gas-shutoff for that purpose.
>inb4 you shouldn't have to shoot a second time if u were gudHumans are flawed by nature, don't pretend you're not.
