>>1461889>That looks pretty ideal. Is the camelback on top of the suspenders or attached to them?Erm, both. I attached it to them, but the shoulder straps don't come off of it, so I'm wearing two sets of straps but keeping them attached makes em easier to manage.
Kinda hard to see in this pic because of how it hangs, but I've got the shoulders attached with a bit of 550 cord, and at the lower back I wove the suspender straps through a D ring on the camelback
As I have the belt set up now, 90% of my gear goes in the butt pack, the magazine pouch holds a pair of Binoculars perfectly, and I have the grenade pouches taped down to not snag as much. The SAW ammo pouch makes a great dump bag/place to stow squirrels.
