I tried skid. I walked the entire length of public water for that area (7 miles back and forth) and all I got was minnows and fall fish. A lot of fall fish. Idk what I'm doing wrong or if there is even any trout in here. I find it hard to believe I couldn't catch a single one when they said they just stocked this creek on the 2nd of this month.
I used a small Aberdeen hook with a split shot 7-8 inches above the hook and then a float farther up varying depending on the depth of the area.
