I dug a foxhole in my yard in 2016 and I learned a couple of things. It was in the shade and in a wet area, after a year there were mushrooms. If you put one in a wet place because you have to, treat it as a temporary shelter don't build it up- otherwise commit if you do. Don't use plywood and think yeah that'll stop moisture
