Just "restored" two great tools. The big appears to be an old hand-forged splitting axe. It had gotten a lot of use in it apparently. Found it in an old shed all pitted out with a splintered and rotten handle. Replaced with a new store-bought hickory handle. Refinished head to remove some of the pitting and all of the rust. Still cuts like a charm though the handle is a bit big. The little one is an old Super Banko Swedish hatched my granduncle gave to me. I restored the original handle and sharpened the blade. Both work great now and it was cheap to restore both.
