back in 2006 my wife and i got a dog with a mysterious past from a local shelter. she was a mixed breed, my best guess is, that she was part pitbull and maybe part rhodesian ridgeback or magyar viszla. she was definitly a skilled hunting dog because of her behaviour, a friend, who is a hunter confirmed this. also, she reacted to commands given in slovakian language. she had a big scar on one of her legs so we thought she might got trapped and that's how she ended up "in the system". i have no idea how she ended up in an austrian shelter tho.
anyways, she was the perfect /out/ dog. endless stamina, military discipline if needed, but she was always fun and games innawoods since she always came back when i whistled. she was probably about 5 or 6 years old when we adopted her, unfortunatly she passed two years ago. i still don't want to adopt another dog, i'm not ready for it.
pic related, it's her a few weeks after she moved in with us and we nursed her back to strenght.
