Found pic related on a tour of the new entrance of Mammoth Cave last week. My kid saw it on the side of the safety rail. I was gonna look for the owner until I noticed the blade was loose, dull, and chipped and I figured out the knife simply made a jump for its life.
I've never had an AUS8 blade before. After a while with a couple of Arkansas stones it took a reasonable edge, but won't hold one like 1095 or 5016. It's also serrated (which I don't like) and has assisted open (about which I am magnificently ambivalent). It isn't what I'd pick if I was spending $35 on a knife, but it isn't bad at all. I'll have to add SOG to my list of decent low-priced knives.
