>>2310924Fellow /k/ommando, I'm still learning out shit myself, but this is what stood out to me:
> 2x 20 round mags6x 30 round mags plus 1 in the rifle is a full combat load. If you're carrying a rifle in general than you shouldn't go out with anything less than a half combat load, especially if you're in skinwalker territory. Nice gun tho.
> Romeo7I have a Romeo5 and its (((justasgood))), but using AAs instead of CR 2032s is nice. Heavier, but significantly more accessible in the wild. I picked up a cheap Juliet3 3x magnifier for mine, it adds a few ounces of weight but its nice being able to reach out a little farther.
> "I'm not too concerned with the flashlight on the gun because I'm not going to be caught out there after dark alone ever ever ever ever ever under any circumstances"This is a prime example of the hubris of man. No one plans for an unplanned event. You have a backup and that's good, but you gotta ditch the whole "It won't happen to me" mindset. Throw a space blanket into your bag, they're cheap, small, and light.
> Duct tape Good shit, but I wrap maybe 9-12 feet of it around my bic lighter instead of carrying an entire roll. This way I have tape on my person if I need it, but it doesn't take up a shitload of space.
> Toilet PaperYou don't need an entire roll, and normally I would say you should just pull a few feet of it off and roll it up onto itself to save space, but TP is so light and compressible that its not a big deal.
> Multiple ways of starting a fireGood, good. Dryer lint is free, stuff a bunch into an old film canister or a prescription bottle and you'll have a waterproof container (that floats even) full of tinder.
> Holy oilFuckin' momos, I swear.
> Bracelet your wife gave you attached to your stockWholesome.
Not having any calories with you is kinda weird. Even a couple Clif bars or something will be nice to have if you get stuck. Also what's your water situation?
