I made the other kayak posts in the last few days, just took mine out for the first time yesterday. Mine is 10'long, 30.5" wide. Its really stable but unless you are a lard ass I would get something a bit longer and narrower. Most of the fishing models on the market are barges for fat dudes. Also this rod holder got in the way. I preferred the 2 flush mounts in the back.

clearly i didnt go out that day- got below freezing at night. This weekend i plan to kayak camp- i have a few drybags gor gear, food is in a cooler but i'm staying close to home so if I titanic i won't starve.
