>spiders(arachnids) In pic related, there are sparse stumps that may harbor a black widow or similar. Only see brown recluse where people live. Maybe my area (SE FL) Tree bark scorpions shuffle under logs and rocks, don't play with logs and rocks. Same goes for rattlesnakes
>alligatorsreally not an issue. If you're camping randomly in the swamp without experience, then shame on you. Never had a bad experience with gators, even swimming around them from rope swings.
>panthersAgain, I've seen a few panthers walking around, but as long as you are noisy or obnoxious/threatening they really dont care. I've chased one away by calling out and throwing marble sized rocks.
