What does /out/ eat and drink on the trail?
I mostly stick to Powerbars, basic trail mix, that Powerade goo stuff (the vanilla flavor tastes like frosting, the others are disgusting), dried apricots and almonds. I've found the Gatorade G series works pretty well too. That initial pouch gives some good long term energy. My hydration pack is filled with water and I have bottles of gatorade.
Anyone have a good trail mix recipe?
