I loved camping alone when I did it, it was actually really hard to do it initially, people would keep coming around trying to chat it up. I eventually did get a trip in that was amazing and all to myself for most of it, but had a caravan show up later and whip out a whole table for catering & they shared some great food. Had some weird comments directed at me as I think they thought it was weird for a 30 year old dude out alone, but hey I was there first and I wanted my solo trip. I had a jet fly over me while sitting at the very top of a Sand Dune, he flipped upside down to see me and that was suuuuper rad. Overall, I want to try again but someone always shows up and finds it strange of me to attempt to do so. I bet most of you don’t have this problem, it’d be nice if people gave no fucks to me out there. On another note, if I don’t camp in a solo spot, no one bats an eye?
