>>2108724yeah, that's me. Thanks a lot for the advice, I absolutely do not regret, those were fantastic 10 days, the Interlakken region is great, and I barely scratched the surface
pic related, rough night in Grindelwald, very strong winds, and the ground was to soft to hold my stkes, the wind kept popping them out, and the tarp would fling them away in night. I went from 3 extra stakes, to one missing, all i could do was jam the corner or my tarp under my walking stick. I sepnd the rest of the night with one hand holding the pole, the other hand with a finger through a buckle (to not loose the tarp in the wind if push came to shove) and my elbow pinned down in a fold against the ground to ease the tension on the remaining stakes. I slept well from 20:30 to 23, when it started popping off, then didn't get much more sleep for the rest of the night, between going out to restake, then spend the night holding the shaking tent in the wind.
