Watching that video a few days ago of the body cam, with that dude that had all the scratches on his face and Gabby starting to cry immediately when the cop arrived, it feels like to me that she was abusive as well as manipulative. She probably hurt him often and one day she pushed him too far, he hit her back, went to far, and either decided to finish her off due to malice, fear of her getting him arrested, or a mix of both. Then disappeared.
Everyone knows his face now, and the FBI are using the MSM to their advantage to spread his face and the story, he'll be easily recognized. So I think he probably made it to a close friend's house, and is laying low and not leaving the house until this dies down, but he'll slip up eventually and get caught, maybe even drive back to the spot where it happened weeks from now to either say goodbye and that he's sorry, or to relive the experience, depending on how he feels about it.
Either that or after he killed her, he killed himself.
