>>2301575I managed to hit Jackson’s for an early January storm midweek, got like 40” inches, 3 solid days of thigh deep blower pow. Probably the best weekend of my life. I have a pretty stealthy set-up so wherever; parking lots, trail heads, roadside. My usual MO if there is no good spot and I have to dirtbag it is to cook while there’s still light, read in my truck or at a park where I’m not planning on sleeping till it’s pretty late, like 10-11-ish. I find all the times I’ve got hassled has been around 7-10.
If any of you guys do anything similar I highly recommend hitting up A-basin early for that sweet beach cookout. Plenty of guys with different rigs and it’s a fun conversation to nerd out on and get good ideas on how to make your rig better. Pic related
