and then, should i do 30 braid to make sure its heavy as fuck, since my heaviest tippet is 0x (15 pound test) and i plan on buying 20 pound bite leader? if #25 braid existed id use that, i just want to make sure that any snap is on the tippet.
then, what fingers need protecting? both or just the fingers on your rod hand? im having an easy time of seeing me hook something big and stupid, it goes on a hard run, and giving me a thin line of rope burn up the entire length of my hand and fingers, but im also seeing a huge gouge in my index finger on my rod hand by day's end
