Alright folks
So I know we're kind of strapped on things to do given the lack of finances and willing bodies, however!
Before we even proceed with a purchase, we need to find a parcel that meets out requirements.
Essentials:
-Must be in an Unorganized Territory or Plantation, meaning it falls under LUPC (pic related, anything in blue. I think.)
-Must be at least 70 acres, or two parcels for sale by the same owner that are at least 100 acres, and either of these are not to exceed 90k. (So, optimal would be 100+ acres for around 80k)
-The parcel needs to meet our basic requirements for usage; Waterfront, be it lake or streams (which I've heard are plentiful, but still), arable land, some timberland
-The owner needs to be willing to finance the purchase (10-20% down payment should be reasonable for us)
Now we've listed some potential parcels but I think it's time we whittle it down to three solid potential choices. This may mean throwing a few more out there but regardless we need to trim it down and have a potential target in mind. That way, when we're prepared to buy, it's there and we aren't scrambling to decide on something that is both practical and within our interests.
I say we choose three because in the odd and unlikely circumstances that someone snatches up our intended (I don't know how often these parcels are purchased, I figure they can sit untouched for years) we have a back up plan
