The craftsman cruiser on the left has its original handle from the late 50's-early 60's, the plumb next to it i hung earlier this year and take camping (its seen a good bit of use), the one to the right of it was hung late last week and used for a few hours, and obviously the last handle is brand new. Handles will absorb dirt, sweat, and oils from your hands over time, and when combined with oiling them periodically it will give you a nice dark handle over time depending on how often its used.
