I was out biking on a decomissioned military base in my area a few months ago when I came across two kousa dogwood trees that were loaded with pic related. I tasted some, and it tasted interesting, so I loaded up my bag and brought the load home. Half of the seeds I notched with a file/cracked with a hammer and put in a pot of dirt, but they've shown no signs of growing, so I must've done something wrong with them. The other half I put in a damp paper towel in a ziploc in the fridge as advised by my old man, and I'm hoping one of them will germinate come spring. Any of you had any experience sprouting/growing/cooking these weird-ass fruits?
