>>1218729In East Texas, the Lone Star NF is probably a good spot. The beaches are empty this week, in the towns near Rockport. Next week is Spring Break, so the beaches are going to be filled. SXSW in Austin is going to have concerts, movies, tech expos, and unbelievable traffic. I recommend Palo Duro Valley near Amarillo or the Mountains near El Paso depending on how you choose to leave the state. Don't go to Enchanted Rock or the greenbelt (they are packed with people)!
